San Jose State is coming to Provo on Saturday. Here are the five Spartan players the Cougars need to watch out for.

5 Matt Faulkner, quarterback

The senior QB has thrown for 549 yards and four touchdown the last two games, including a 313-yard, two-TD performance in last week's win over Colorado State. Faulkner completed 14-of-26 passes for 184 and no interceptions against Stanford. His father, Tom, is a singer/songwriter who has penned more than 500 jingles, including the Baby Back Ribs jingle for Chili's restaurant.

4 Brandon Rutley, running back

A senior, Rutley has recorded back-to-back 100-plus yard rushing games in his last two contests, including a 209-yard performance against New Mexico State. He had a 66-yard TD run against New Mexico and a 65-yard TD run against UCLA. Rutley has rushed for six touchdowns this season.

3 Ryan Otten, wide receiver

Otten has 15 receptions for 246 yards, averaging 17.6 yards per catch, and three touchdowns.

2 Noel Grigsby, wide receiver

The sophomore, who was named to the 2011 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, has caught a team-high 28 passes for 248 yards.

1 James Orth, safety

Orth, a junior, has recorded a team-high two interceptions, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery. He had a career-best 12 tackles in a loss to Nevada.
