Trevor Lloyd, Sr., Guard, 0.2 ppg, 0.04 rpg

Coach Comments: “I expect this to be a very competitive, tough-minded team. With numerous players returning with varsity experience, this team should be able to hit a good rhythm early. If they work hard and continue to improve, they have a good chance of being one of the better teams in their region and possibly the state. The preseason schedule will be challenging (may be the most difficult we’ve ever had), and it is always tough facing teams that have scouted you and are prepared. However, knowing the work rate they have put in over the summer, and the competitive, team-oriented spirit they pose, I expect them to rise to the challenge, and be one of the last teams standing in the end.”

Brandon Jones, Jr., Center, 0.1 ppg, 0.04 spg

Michael Kerr, Sr., Forward, 0.04 apg

Coach Comment: “Young team with not a great deal of size, but good shooters at all positions will make them difficult to guard. Our team’s ability to defend and rebound will be the keys to our success. We have two of the better players in the state in senior guards Jake Connor and Henry Morris. Their leadership and the development of the young talent could make this a very competitive team in an extremely difficult region.”

Darion Brown, Sr., Guard, 9.3 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.6 apg, 1.5 spg

Taylor Marteliz, Soph., Guard, 1.9 ppg, 1.0 rpg

Coach Comment: “We have some returning starters who will provide us with experience. Lacking size, quickness will be our strength. Mychell Haley and Alex Zepeda have shown the most improvement over the offseason and it will be exciting to see how they fit in with Bushmen Ebet, one of the state's top leaders in steals last year. We have a lot of potential that will need to grow quickly with the new region we are in.”

It’s a new region with a lot of new members; so it should be very entertaining. Orem is very good again, so we will have our work cut out for us to compete for the region title. Coach Comment: “Timpanogos adds a lot of fresh faces this year as the T-Wolves look to capitalize on a great offseason of hard work and growth. We are thrilled with the work that the boys have put in this offseason. A lot of our younger players have really put in the time to develop themselves, and will get a chance to prove themselves in varsity competition this year. Practices so far have been very competitive with lots of guys giving us great effort every day, putting a lot of energy into improving their skills and giving their all to their team.
