Since Ed "Red" Wade from Utah State was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1937 in the second NFL draft, the state of Utah has consistently produced NFL-caliber players. Some players were drafted but never played, while others went on to have long careers in the NFL.

Unlike previous decades, the 90s saw a considerable decline in players from Utah colleges declaring for the draft.

Wide receiver Kevin Dyson from Utah, took part in two of the greatest highlights in NFL history, being part of The Music City Miracle and The Tackle.

Take a look at our previous list of Utah football players drafted in the '70s and '80s.

As a warmup to Thursday's NFL draft, enjoy this walk through Utah's NFL history.
