The sporting world produces some of the finest photography available in the media. It also produces some of the weirdest.

The DeseretNews.com Sports Staff has selected these 25 photos as the most interesting, most heart-warming, most humorous, and most ridiculous photos from the week of Oct 14-20, 2012.

DeseretNews.com sports will produce one list like this every Monday.

In this list, the least weird, ridiculous, or awesome are at the beginning and the best is last. We've also modified (most of) the captions for effect.

If you know of any photos that you would like to include in next Monday's list, notify us by emailing lhemsley@deseretdigital.com.
