SALT LAKE CITY — Considering how chaotic the first 14 games were — on and off the field — things are suddenly calm for the Utah Blaze heading into their final four regular-season games.
Utah was officially eliminated from playoff contention after bumbling two consecutive snaps against San Jose last week. Now, without the added pressure of trying to escape from the depths in time for the postseason, the Blaze (5-9) can play carefree Saturday against New Orleans (4-10) at EnergySolutions Arena at 7 p.m.
The VooDoo has been anemic on offense this season, ranking last in total yards and passing yards while checking in among the bottom of the pack in scoring, too. New Orleans tries to get the ball to All-Arena wide receiver Donovan Morgan, who's frequently alongside Quorey Payne.
