SALT LAKE CITY — A delivery driver for a local pharmaceutical company has been arrested for allegedly pocketing pain pills.
Zachary Kyle Wigham, 28, of Centerville, was arrested Thursday for investigation of 41 counts of drug possession and one count of misdemeanor theft.
Wigham worked for Genoa Healthcare Pharmacy, according to a Salt Lake County Jail report. After gaining access into the pharmacy, he would allegedly pocket Lortab and Tramadol pills. He did this on at least four different occasions, the report states.
While being interviewed by police, Wigham was told to get whatever pills were in his car. Inside the center console, police say he pulled out a pair of gloves. Inside the gloves were 23 Tramadol pills and 18 Lortab pills, the report states.
Overall, Wigham estimated he had taken about 60 Tramadols and 47 Lortabs, according to police.
