Earlier this year, the Australian Broadway cast of "The Lion King" surprised strangers with a performance of "The Circle of Life" while traveling on an airplane. Last week, the New York City cast of "The Lion King" stage a similar performance and serenaded travelers on a subway.

In a video posted Tuesday, several members of "The Lion King" cast are shown breaking into song.

"The Broadway cast of 'The Lion King' took a break between shows on June 28, and took over a New York City subway car to give riders a little surprise," the video description stated.

The musical is running at The Minskoff Theater in Times Square.
