LEHI — Brett Robertson, an agriculture teacher at Lehi High School, has been named Teacher of the Year by the Utah Association for Career and Technical Education.

Robertson has been a teacher in the Alpine School District for nine years. He teaches ag communications, plant and soil science, ag systems, technology I and II and floral design.

He is currently an officer of the Utah Association for Agricultural Educators. He also has developed an outreach program with the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind teaching preschoolers agricultural concepts to help improve their sensory learning, communications and confidence.
