A trio of experienced Mormon authors — Anita Stansfield, Krista Jensen and Sheryl Johnson — recently released a collage of romantic novellas titled “With All My Heart.”

Published by Covenant Communications, this latest offering in the wholesome romance genre touts three short love stories each with a texture of its own.

Jensen, a practiced novelist whose book “Of Grace and Chocolate” was a Whitney Award finalist, shares the story of Kendal. This newly divorced young mother needs to get away. As she boards a catamaran with friends in the Virgin Islands, however, she finds an unexpected face from her past. Bret, her handsome and athletic college crush, brings old feelings rushing to the surface. Crippled by the weight of her choices, Kendal is unsure whether she can move forward into romance but knows she doesn’t want to let Bret slip away a second time.

With numerous awards and dedicated followers, Anita Stansfield is a prevailing name in the local world of clean romances. Her offering in this trinity takes place in London in the mid 1800s. Stella Hollingberry, a penniless gentleman’s daughter, must find a way to change her path or be forced onto the streets. When a sudden death reveals her as the heiress of a grand, but dilapidated, estate, she finds freedom and peace in her work to restore the property. However, her labors bring her into contact with a furtive stable hand who is much more than he seems. When trouble again threatens Stella with poverty, her affections for this man may turn them both into heroes.

With her first novel published in 2012, Johnson in a relative newcomer to the field of romantic writing. Her addition to this collection follows Trisha, a freshly graduated accounting student who stumbles into her first job. When a hot-shot accountant from corporate skids onto the scene, Trisha becomes his unwitting side-kick and unexpected confidant. While everyone in the office hates the guy they think is a corporate spy, Trisha sees a sensitive and kind side to this man that no one else knows exists. Thrust into the middle of a scandal that could ruin the company, Trisha must choose whether to follow her head or follow her heart.

This collection is simple and unembellished. The stories are clean and appropriate for all readers with straightforward plotlines and open characters, none of which are specifically members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

It is a quick and safe read for anyone who relishes a romance.
