I live two blocks away from the soon-to-be finished Payson LDS temple. This is awesome for many reasons. It is, without a doubt, a beautiful thing to see outside my window. The whole neighborhood probably isn’t complaining about house values skyrocketing, either. Everybody seems to be excited. It’s amazing that a temple was built so close to me. I know it will be enjoyed by many. But there are a few things I’ve begun worrying about.
Our roads aren’t in the best shape. Traffic in our neighborhood might just drastically increase. I’m not looking forward to this. My neighborhood is fairly quiet, very peaceful, and with this beautiful attraction, people are bound to come flocking in. Assuming this is even a legitimate concern, how can this be prevented? Is this a factor that’s already been thought through?
