Jimmer Fredette has made a decision on his new NBA home, according to sources.
Fredette completed a buyout on Thursday with the Sacramento Kings, the only NBA team he had played for since being selected by the Kings in the 2011 draft.
According to USA Today, if Fredette clears waivers, it is scheduled to happen at 5 p.m. EST Saturday. ESPN, also citing sources, reported earlier Friday about the likelihood of Fredette signing with the Bulls.
"I've seen that he's got talent," Bulls forward Taj Gibson told ESPN about the potential of having Fredette as a teammate. "It's just that the team that he was on, he never really got a chance to do much because they've got the characters on that team where they don't seem too serious, you know what I'm saying? Playing on strict, good teams kind of brings the best out of a player."
