SANDY — Kyle Beckerman, Tony Beltran, Nick Rimando and Alvaro Saborio have all been called up to their respective national teams for July's CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup begins on July 7 and run until July 28. Beckerman, Beltran and Rimando, all of whom will play for the USA, will miss a minimum of two MLS games while at the tournament. Saborio, who will play for Costa Rica, will be gone for at least three league matches.

Real Salt Lake fans have the opportunity to see all four players compete in the Gold Cup on July 13. Rio Tinto Stadium will host a Gold Cup doubleheader. Game one features the U.S. vs. Cuba, and game two features Costa Rica vs. Belize.

The three American selections will report to the U.S. Men’s National Team Sunday, following RSL’s Saturday match at Toronto FC. Saborio departs Salt Lake City to join up with the Costa Rican squad today.

Beckerman has the most appearances for the U.S. men's team at 25, followed by Rimando with six and Beltran with one. Saborio is a recent captain of the Costa Rican national team.

The winner of the 2013 Gold Cup will compete in a playoff with the winner of the 2015 event for the right to represent CONCACAF at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. The U.S. has reached the final of the Gold Cup in five of the last six tournaments, winning three titles. Costa Rica has never won the Gold Cup.
