SALT LAKE CITY — Hogle Zoo patrons and the animals housed there made do with the newly fallen snow Saturday, finding activities in and out of the elements.

Some animals, including the big cats at the zoo typically love Utah winters. In fact, the colder the better for them, but they were snuggled in dry spots across their habitats on Saturday, as patrons viewed them.

The zoo is open 363 days a year, allowing visitors to experience the animals in their habitats during any season of the year.
