SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert announced the appointment of two judges to the 3rd District Court Tuesday.
Su J. Chon, an attorney for the Office of Property Rights Ombudsman, is part of the American and Utah Bar associations and a member in the Utah Minority Bar Association with experience in real estate law.
James T. Blanch, a civil litigation attorney with Parsons Behle and Latimer, is and adjunct associate professor at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and has served in the Utah Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Procedure since 1999.
“Both Su J. Chon and James T. Blanch have extensive experience and outstanding expertise that will well serve the 3rd District Court and the people of Utah” Herbert said in a prepared statement.
The 3rd District Court serves Salt Lake, Summit and Tooele counties.
