When the governor came to Snake Valley, he explained the state's position on the water agreement with Nevada, and the belief here is that he will sign the agreement. If it is signed, I believe Utah will have lost the battle to keep its lawful share of the water in Snake Valley.
Will there be enough water to protect the senior water rights and the whole complex of life here in Snake Valley? I believe the water table is falling, the springs are drying up, and we are already in a deficit. Let us answer fundamental questions using the best science available to us and not rush to a mistake that cannot be corrected.
