REGION 1

DAVIS 26, LAYTON 7: Mark Christiansen racked up 97 yards on 27 carries to lead the Darts to an easy Region 1 victory at home. Davis recovered all seven of Layton's fumbles which led to 17 points.

NORTHRIDGE 28, SYRACUSE 25: Karson Casteel completed 13-of-22 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns as Northridge picked up the huge region victory to keep its Region 1 title hopes alive. David Adams had 14 carries for 110 yards and had five receptions for 156 yards with one TD on the ground and one receiving.

FREMONT 50, WEBER 0: Nick Vigil had 13 carries for 178 yards and three touchdowns, while Kelley Cooper went 11 for 16 for 173 yards and two passing TDs to help Fremont to the lopsided region win. Brad Boswell was picked off three times for Weber, and was never able to get the Wildcats going in the tough slide.

REGION 2

VIEWMONT 28, TAYLORSVILLE 7: Josh Staples threw for 119 yards and two touchdowns as Viewmont methodically knocked off Taylorsville to improve to 2-0 in Region 2. Reno Fau'olo rushed for 95 yards for Taylorsville.

WEST 30, KEARNS 24: With a few minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Afuvai Leiato scored on a four yard run to tie up the game and head into overtime. West's Alex Espinosa was able to find Taurus Dickerson in the end-zone on a 15 yard pass to win the game. Espinosa and Dickerson connected for three touchdowns during the game.

HUNTER 25, GRANGER 15: Jairo Tarver completed 10-of-14 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns as Hunter picked up its first victory under first-year coach Les Hamilton. Davon Maez was the go-to receiver scoring both TDs as Hunter improved to 1-1 in region, while Granger falls to 0-2.

REGION 3

COTTONWOOD 41, WEST JORDAN 38: After Martavius Redmond put West Jordan ahead with 22 seconds remaining after hauling in a touchdown pass from Michael Moorehead, Cottonwood answered back when Cooper Bateman connected with Sione Moli for a 78-yard touchdown pass as time expired. Gabe Hosea finished with three touchdowns for the Colts.

ALTA 21, BRIGHTON 0: In a surprisingly low-scoring Region 3 battle, Alta methodically pulled away for the victory as Andrew Gifford scored on a 60-yard fumble recovery, Steven Richards scored on a 29-yard pass and Bryan Engstrom scored on a 1-yard run.

JORDAN 41, COPPER HILLS 10: Austin Grant rushed for 78 yards, and also had 62 yards receiving to help Jordan to victory. Austin Kafentzis ran for a pair of touchdowns, and also passed for a pair of touchdowns for the Beetdiggers. Taylor Loomis returned an interception for a TD, and also caught a 25 yard reception for pay dirt.

REGION 4

RIVERTON 41, PLEASANT GROVE 0: Riverton's Albert Tai kick-started the rout with a 47-yard interception return and the 'Wolves never looked back. It was one of two defensive scores in the game as Preston Young later returned a fumble 50-yards for the score.

AMERICAN FORK 37, LEHI 18: Tyler Brimhall went 3-for-6 passing, and carried the ball 16 times for 91 yards and three scores to help American Fork to the region win at home. Tyler Belliston also had a great night for the Cavemen, rushing 16 times for 118 yards and two scores.

REGION 5

MOUNTAIN CREST 21, BOX ELDER 20: Mountain Crest stopped the Bees' two-point conversion attempt to cap off a thrilling double overtime game after neither team scored in the first overtime. Box Elder previously attempted a conversion earlier and succeeded after Breckin Gunter plunged into the end-zone. Mountain Crest quarterback Eddy Hall went 15-for-27 through the air for 200 yards and three touchdowns.

LOGAN 67, SKY VIEW 7: Quarterback DJ Nelson went 30-for-43 for 300 yards passing, as Logan defeated Sky View 67-7. Nelson added to his stats with 24 carries and 157 yards rushing. Sky View's lone score came on a 10-yard run from Skyler Hunt in the second quarter.

BONNEVILLE 13, ROY 0: Morgan Unga led Bonneville to victory, rushing for 66 yards and throwing for 75 yards. Carson Fackrell split the uprights on three occasions putting 7 points on the board. The Laker defense held Roy scoreless.

REGION 6

BOUNTIFUL 34, CLEARFIELD 7: Tanner Redding caught a pair of touchdown passes from Cam Zollinger, and also had an interception to help Bountiful to the win. Jakob Hunt rushed for a pair of touchdowns, and led the Braves to a third consecutive region win.

EAST 53, CYPRUS 6: Jason Cook and Preston Curtis led East with two touchdowns apiece as the top-ranked Leopards sailed to the easy victory. It was a big night on the ground as East scored eight rushing TDs and outscored Cyprus 47-6 in the first-half alone.

HIGHLAND 44, WOODS CROSS 37: A week after the offense stalled in a big way against Bountiful, Highland hung on for a thrilling victory over the Wildcats. Justin Weaver had 22 rushes for 159 yards and went 3-for-10 passing for 155 yards and three touchdowns. Sione Houma added 113 yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns for Highland.

REGION 7

OLYMPUS 27, HERRIMAN 21: Brandon McBride of Olympus had 105 yards on 15 carries while quarterback Scott Porter completed 10 of 21 and 156 yards as the Titans handed Herriman its second straight loss. Cole Benson changed the momentum of the game on the second play of the second half, intercepting the ball for Olympus. The Titans went on to score two touchdowns in the third to build a crucial lead.

WESTLAKE 40, MURRAY 6: Westlake marched for 40 unanswered points before Murray could take a breath of fresh air with their lone touchdown in the fourth quarter. Westlake quarterback Josh Sorensen finished with four touchdowns.

SKYLINE 44, HILLCREST 13: Skyline marched to 482 yards of total offense on the night, behind Chris Williams' 138 yards rushing and Maurice Mapps Jr. taking off for 135 yards respectively. For Hillcrest, Tanner Dastrup finished the night 13 for 28 with 233 yards and two touchdowns in the tough region loss.

REGION 8

TIMPANOGOS 23, MOUNTAIN VIEW 9: Timpanogos played a great defensive game holding Mountain View to just nine points. Max Hill recorded a fourth quarter interception return for a touchdown to seal the win for Timpanogos.

SPRINGVILLE 33, SALEM HILLS 13: Salem Hills was first to get on the board but couldn't hold the small lead as Springville outscored them 27-3 in the following two quarters. Confusion between referees in the third-quarter led to Salem's Chandler George punting the ball three times in succession, his final punt sailing 70-yards.

TIMPVIEW 29, OREM 14: Jake Lloyd accounted for three touchdown scores through the air as the T-Birds scored 19 unanswered points in the final quarter to remain unbeaten in region play. Orem led 14-10 heading into the fourth quarter thanks to a pair of Taylor Camp TD passes, but it couldn't protect the lead as it suffered its first Region 8 loss of the year.

REGION 9

CEDAR 53, SNOW CANYON 35: John Ursua rushed 14 times for 139 yards and three touchdowns, while Alec Jordan carried the ball 17 times for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Hayden Bishop also had 17 carries, and finished with 136 yards rushing to help the Redmen pick up a critical region victory.

HURRICANE 35, PINE VIEW 21: Hurricane kept the storm brewing behind Brian Scott. The back eclipsed 1,000 yards on the season off of 27 carries for 168 yards and three touchdowns in the double digit win. Kevin Mortensen and Jared Edwards combined for 23 tackles and one sack for the Tigers.

DIXIE 44, CANYON VIEW 0: Blake Barney completed 13-of-18 passes with 432 yards passing and two touchdowns to help Dixie to the lopsided region win. Kyle Hansen was the quarterbacks favorite target, catching five passes for 216 yards and a pair of TDs. Justin Cummings had eight carries for 55 yards, and had three rushing TDs on the night.

REGION 10

PARK CITY 55, UINTAH 23: Heath Vincent connected with Jono Schettler for four touchdowns as Park City won its second straight game to improve to 2-0 in Region 10. Vincent ended with 251 yards passing and four touchdowns for Park City. Uintah actually led 10-7 late in the first quarter, but Park City responded by scoring 34 straight points.

JUDGE MEMORIAL 62, UNION 0: Christian Weidle found the pylon four times and his teammates Daniel Garcia and Dominic Conti added two apiece in the runaway victory.

JUAN DIEGO 44, WASATCH 13: Brock Garn ran for a pair of touchdowns, and Juan Diego rallied for 28 first half points to cruise to the region win over visiting Wasatch.

REGION 11

OGDEN 27, TOOELE 0: Anthony Sattiwhite had two rushing touchdowns of 30 and 66 yards, respectively, but added two more in the air to lead Ogden to the impressive victory.

MORGAN 47, BEAR RIVER 12: Morgan scored 34 second half points to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Stansbury with a big victory over Bear River. Bridger Anderson added three scores on the ground for the Trojans.

GRANTSVILLE 35, BEN LOMOND 10: Grantsville scored 14 points in back-to-back quarters to fly past Ben Lomond on the road.

REGION 12

NORTH SANPETE 17, CARBON 0: North Sanpete doubled up Carbon offensively and was able to pick off the Dinos twice to pick up the region win at home. Chad Watts rushed 22 times for 75 yards, and Brady Walker carried the ball six times for 28 yards and a score.

JUAB 11, PAYSON 0: Spencer McPhearson completed 16-of-26 passes for 209 yards and snagged a pick on defense. Kyler Ockey had 76 yards on six receptions while Talon Bryan and Kaden Kelson also had interceptions to lead the Wasps in the shutout.

DELTA 35, SPANISH FORK 14: Delta quarterback Colin Christensen passed for two touchdowns, rushed for touchdowns and picked off two passes defensively to lead the Rabbits to the victory over visiting Spanish Fork in a Region 12 showdown. Christensen finished the game with 16 carries for 99 yards, while Christian Hatch was a beast on the ground as well carrying the ball 31 times for 151 yards. Spanish Fork turned it over four times, all four in the red zone.

NONREGION

RICH 42, MILFORD 0: Kaden Thomson scored on a rushing touchdown in the first half and then returned an interception 40 yards for another touchdown in the second half to pace Rich to the shutout victory over visiting Milford. Austin Groll and Bracken Pinter got the scoring started by hooking up for a touchdown in the first quarter.

MONTICELLO 48, ALTAMONT 6: Monticello had a steady offensive flow throughout the entire game, scoring double digits in three quarters to run past Altamont.

1A NORTH

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 36, DIAMOND RANCH 26: Jaques Carter led Layton Christian past Diamond Ranch with 116 yards rushing on 17 carries and a pair of TDs. Brandon Faison also had a big day, recording five tackles and an interception that he returned for 57 yards. Faison also had a rushing score of 72 yards early in the fourth quarter.

2A NORTH

MILLARD 42, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 13: Jesse Rhodes got in the end zone four times for Millard and snagged two interceptions in the win. American Leadership held them scoreless in the second-half and got on the board, but were unable to overcome the first-half deficit.

EMERY 35, GUNNISON 13: Emery opened-up the game in the second quarter scoring 21 points. Both Cory Cox and Marco Mota scored two rushing touchdowns.

MANTI 41, NORTH SEVIER 7: Brady Aste completed 6 of 10 passes for 91 yards and three touchdowns to lead Manti to the easy region victory. Trey Gunderson hauled in two of the TD passes, while Tyler Thomson added his own.

SOUTH SUMMIT 35, NORTH SUMMIT 0: Hayden Packard had seven carries for 19 yards, and caught two passes for 37 yards and finished the night with a pair of touchdowns to lead South Summit. Defense got the better of North Summit, which conceded 35 straight points without cracking into the red zone.

2A SOUTH

SAN JUAN 40, SOUTH SEVIER 0: San Juan remained unbeaten in impressive fashion, scoring 34 points in the first half to put the game out of reach early. Barkley Christensen had three touchdown tosses in the win for the Broncos.

ENTERPRISE 23, BEAVER 13: Ricky Ramos kicked a field goal and was at the receiving end of a Jake Jones touchdown toss as Enterprise upset Beaver at home.

KANAB 26, PAROWAN 7: Kanab's defense limited Parowan to just 87 yards of total offense as it improved to 5-2 overall, but more importantly 3-2 in the 2A South region.

RICHFIELD 26, GRAND 24: The Red Devils missed a two point conversion to tie in the final seconds as Richfield hung for the thrilling region victory. Braden Hampton led the way for Richfield with two receiving touchdowns, both from Josh Henry, and a rushing TD. Jacob Francis threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown in the loss for Grand.
