SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz could be down to eight players for tonight's season-finale at home against Denver.

Starting swingman C.J. Miles is listed as doubtful after being diagnosed with a partial tear in his popliteus muscle in his left knee.

The injury was revealed during an MRI test conducted by team physician Dr. Lyle Mason on Tuesday afternoon.

That muscle attaches to the fibula head, which Miles jammed while driving to the hoop in Monday's win at New Orleans.

Miles continued to play after feeling what he described as a "shock wave" up his leg similar to a funny bone injury.

Miles said he has injured his fibula bone several times this season but has continued to play.

Utah will also be without Mehmet Okur, Kyrylo Fesenko and likely Andrei Kirilenko, Raja Bell and Ronnie Price for the early 6 p.m. tipoff.
