PROVO — Robert Anae is getting a fresh start in Tucson.

Anae, who resigned last week as BYU's offensive coordinator, was hired Monday by the University of Arizona, a source close to the situation told the Deseret News.

Wildcat coach Mike Stoops lost co-offensive coordinator Bill Bedenbaugh over the weekend to West Virginia. Stoops filled that position by bringing on Anae, who served as the Cougars' offensive coordinator from 2005-2010.

BYU quarterbacks coach Brandon Doman, meanwhile, has been offered the Cougars' offensive coordinator job to replace Anae.
