Seagull Tape and Book, a company that sell products about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, had a 43.2 percent increase in sales in the quarter ending Sept. 30 from $379,050 in the quarter a year ago to $543,006.

Greg Kofford, president, said the Bountiful store had a 73 percent increase to lead all stores followed by a 70 percent increase in the Ogden store. The Sandy, Murray, Salt Lake and Taylorsville stores also showed significant increases in the three months.Kofford said the Bountiful store's move to a location on Main Street during the quarter helped to increase sales. The company also acquired new stores in Dallas, Texas, and Los Angeles, giving the chain 12 stores.
